The BroadOak Schools Owerri Prepares to Welcome Abia and Imo State School students to the Olympics of Academics
The BroadOak Schools, Owerri, in collaboration with Grundtvig Int. School, Oba, prepares to welcome school students from South-eastern Nigeria to the Olympics of Academics, Episode 2
Less than three weeks away, the final episode of the 2023 Olympics of Academics is expected to bring together 1,000 students, aged 9-12, from 120 schools in 4 countries to participate in the Let It Shine Literacy Olympiad.
The BroadOak Schools, Owerri is set to host the schools from Abia state & Imo state for the Chandelle’s Let It Shine Literacy Olympiad, welcoming more than the top 50 students and support staff from around the states for the event — the fastest-growing, multi-academic event in the country. The exam will take place on June 10, 2023.
“I am beyond proud of how well our students, studied and performed after the preliminary exams,” said Mr Williams Idongesit, the Vice Principal of The BroadOak Schools, Owerri. “The students have always made us proud wherever they go and we are proud of them. Having done well in the preliminary test, I know they will do better in the main competition. I am also very humbled by, and proud of, the Chandelle Group community for partnering with BroadOak Schools to bring this program to our campus.”
The Olympics of Academics is widely known as an international competition and the mission is to gather bright students from different institutes and provide them with a platform where they can showcase their skills, talents, and knowledge by participating, in and winning, the Olympiad competitions. Students are offered a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through these competitions.
